Sports Broadcasting Camp 2016

Join the Community Media Center of Marin, and the San Rafael Pacifics for the most hands-on, real-life professional production training available to students in the Bay Area. All participants will learn camera operation, directing, multi-camera switching, on-screen graphics, scorekeeping, and audio mixing, while simultaneously providing live TV coverage of select baseball games to Pacifics fans.

CMCM announces youth sports broadcasting program with San Rafael Pacifics

The Community Media Center of Marin will be partnering this summer with Dominican University and the San Rafael Computer Clubhouse to offer a sports broadcasting program for high school and college students, covering live San Rafael Pacifics baseball games.

For the past 25 years, Marin Ventures has been striving to help intellectually and developmentally disabled adults seek independence, personal growth, and community integration. Instructors provide participants with the opportunity to work in a variety of mediums, including drawing, painting, printmaking, ceramics, textiles, photography, and videography.

The Community Media Center of Marin invites you to join us on Friday, May 10th for the opening reception of our latest Gallery Show, "Beautiful Bellies". Local artist (and expecting mother) Sandy Coronado will debut her colorful array of maternity-themed line drawings, paintings, and embroidery just in time for Mother's Day Weekend! Enjoy free themed appetizers and refreshments while taking the opportunity to meet with the artist and view her beautiful artwork up close. See you there!

Fidel is Fidel - Photography & Film Documentary Exhibit

Commemorating Fidel Castro’s 90th birthday, renowned photographer and filmmaker Roberto Chile has created a traveling photo exhibition and a documentary film about the public and private persona of the Cuban hero during these later years.
